For Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)

The herbal insulin sensitizer with D-Chiro-Inositol edge

HYPONIDD is used for the treatment of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) on account  of  its  role  as  an  herbal  insulin  sensitiser  with  d-chiro-inositol  edge.  PCOS affects  6-10  %  of  women  population  and  it  is  very  often  associated  with  insulin resistance. PCOS leads to amenorrhoea, anovulation, oligomenorrhoea, hirsutism, acne, etc. HYPONIDD   in   PCOS   improves   ovulatory   function   and   several   metabolic derangements associated with insulin resistance. HYPONIDD decreases the insulin resistance and thereby corrects the three axes namely metabolic, reproductive and steroidogenic. Haridra (Curcuma longa) has antiandrogenic, hypolipidemic, antiobesity and antioxidant properties.  Gudmar (Gymnema sylvestre), Amalaki (Emblica officinalis), Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia), Mamejoa (Enicostemma littorale) and Tarwar (Cassia auriculata) possess antidiabetic, hypolipidemic,  cardioprotective  and  antioxidant  properties. Thus, HYPONIDD is safe and effective insulin sensitising, antiandrogenic, antihyperglycemic, hypolipidemic  and  antioxidant  formulation  for  the  management  of  PCOS.

For Diabetes

HYPONIDD is a herbomineral combination for diabetes. The ingredients are proven to have a definite beneficial effect not only in maintaining blood sugar levels but also in lowering lipids. Vijaysaar (Pterocarpus marsupium) is an insulin sensitiser; Amalaki (Emblica officinalis) is an antioxidant. Karela (Momordica charantia), Neem (Melia azadirachta) and Gudmar (Gymnema sylvestre) are potent anti-diabetic ingredients. The cumulative action of HYPONIDD is insulin sensitising, antihyperglycemic, hypolipidemic and antioxidant. HYPONIDD minimizes the progression of diabetic complications if started sufficiently early.

We all know that PCOS is a global problem harassing us (gynecologist), since puberty to perimenopause. We are not yet sure about the exact pathophysiology of it, but as its understood till today- insulin resistance which is a major metabolic event.

I have done comparative study of Hyponidd/Metformin in PCOS. Active ingredient of Hyponidd (D- Chiro- inositol) has a different mechanism than Metformin. Side effects were very less in Hyponidd, it’s well-tolerated and effects are quite comparable. I am using Hyponidd more in adolescents who have better compliance with Hyponidd.

Consistent use of Hyponidd tablets as a co-prescription with allopathic drugs improves life expectancy in Diabetes mellitus and ovulation cycles are induced in chronic anovulatory cycles in females who desire to have pregnancy.

Hyponidd has always been foremost in my prescriptions for all patients of Polycystic ovaries. Pregnancy rates has definitely improved in infertility patients having PCOD.

Dr. Neetu Ahluwalia

Hyponidd is a good alternative to Metformin especially in patients who are intolerant to the salt. The effects are also good in oligomenorrhoea and resistant to Metformin.

Dr. P. R. Venugopal
M.B.B.S., M.D., D.G.O

I have been using Hyponidd for the past 4-5 years, especially in PCOD cases resistant to traditional line of management. Hyponidd had done wonders in some unexpected cases when used in combination with other drugs. It has been a constant weapon in my armament in the management of PCOD.

Dr. Rohit Ghutghutia

It has been advocated that Metformin used in obese PCO improves ovulation parameter.

I have used Metformin with considerable satisfaction. However, it is associated with significant patient morbidity leading to low compliance.

Hyponidd has come as a relief for such patients. Post receptor modification of the insulin receptor has application in PCOS women. It is wonderfully tolerated by the patients. Some women have had reduction of Metformin dose when combined with Hyponidd.

Dr. Mrs. Meeta Bala
M.B.B.S

The excellent results of Tab. Hyponidd has really increased my faith as far as treating PCOS and infertility cases. Out of 100 patients at least 65-70 patients, the treatment has been successful.

Dr. Shankar N Bijapur
M.D., (OBG) M.I.C.O.G. (Bom), D.F.P. (Bom)

In my experience over the last 10 years of treating infertility, I find polycystic ovaries to be a very common cause. Interestingly use of Metformin has revolutionized the menstrual cycle control and induction of ovulation in such patients.

I am convinced about use of Hyponidd tablets in such patients not just for ensuring ovulation but also for adequate endometrial thickness to increase the chances of nidation.
